happy birthday to me!

Font size
Today is my birthday! I'm so very excited, but I can't believe that I'm 23!!!! I'm getting up there!!! I'm having a joint party tonight with my sis-in-law Brittainy who wasn't in town on her birthday, so we're celebrating!!!! I love when my birthday is here, because that means it's also Thanksgiving!!!! {Every 6th year or so, my birthday is on Thanksgiving!} It's fun like that! My wonderful hubs bought me this REALLY cute jacket for me, so I will be sporting it all day long! I also have a test today, I can't believe that I have a test on my birthday! Well, after that test though {it should be pretty easy} I'm just doing fun things for the day! {Maybe going to target or something?!?!?!} If anyone didn't know, that's my FAVORITE store ever! :)
I did want to say thank you to everyone who gave me wonderful & sweet birthday wishes on my facebook & twitter for me when I woke up! I hope everyone has a wonderful day just like I will! :) Be safe for the holidays!!!

Adam, Nichole, & The Peanut Factory!

OK, so this past weekend was my cousin's wedding in Conway, SC {for those of you who don't know where that is, it's near Myrtle Beach}. Adam married this beautiful girl Nichole, and I just love her! She is too sweet! They had their reception at the Peanut Factory! It is an old factory that they transformed into a beautiful reception! This was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been too. {Well, mine was first, but this one was different} These pictures don't do justice of how beautiful it really was. There was so many details put into this wedding and reception, and I think that is why I loved this wedding so much! My favorite part of the wedding: they had Marble Slab come to the reception and you could get as much ice cream as you want with any mixins!!!!!! It was awesome, I had birthday cake with cookie dough mixins. YUM!

Vintage Postcards for everyone to write on for the Bride & Groom! They had this awesome Funk band play for the reception, they were awesome, and they had dancers too! {notice the girl in the tassel dress}

Amazing Entryway with live flowers & beautiful chandeliers

Marble Slab station! {Notice the donut hole pile. Nichole wanted that for her cake, but her mom said no, so she got a pile next to the ice cream.}

They covered this part of the wall with bushery & they brought in a live tree for decorations!!!

Part of the room, notice the beautiful paintings brought in, there was about 7 of these painting with glass flowers and live branches on them!

Mama Nell and her girls {me, Blair, Meribeth}. I love this picture, and I love my grandma! :)

I <3 Marble slab ice cream!

beautiful cake!

I love this picture of Mike and me! He is so handsome! <3

Peacock Earrings

Yesterday, my mom bought me these cute earrings that I've been telling her about, they are peacock feather earrings, and oh, they are so cute!
When I got home last night and tried them on, I started laughing because they were so big & long that they were hanging below my hair! It looked real funny.
So today, I decided that I was going to trim them. I looked up online if that was normal, and most of the peacock feather earrings that you find to buy are already trimmed.
I had to work up the guts to trim them.... I started snipping away, and they turned out perfect!
Before {not trimmed}:haha, look how long they were!!!

After {trimmed}:They sit right at my hairline.... Much better!

Tervis Tumbler

If you know me at all, you know that I always have one of these Tervis Tumblers with me, pretty much all the time. They really are the best cups ever. My stepmom introduced me to them when her and my dad got married in 2005. I first I thought they were kinda weird {she had some with lighthouses on them}. Then I realized what a great cup they were and I received a couple as gifts, and I have never turned back! They can keep drinks hot or cold. I normally carry them where ever I'm going, and they come in really cute designs!
These ones are initial ones {believe it or not out of the 12 that we have, we don't have any with our initials on them!}You can buy them at Bed, Bath, & Beyond {use a 20% off coupon and get it at a good price}
We registered for a lot of them for our wedding, so our collection has grown over the year that we've been married, but Tervis Tumbler always comes out with a cuter pattern, and now they have all these different colored lids to go on them, so I've been going a little crazy lately! :)

My mom bought the Bride & Groom cups for us to do our toast with at our wedding! It was the cutest thing ever!
Here we are at our wedding with our tervis tumblers!

I still use my Bride cup very often, well... actually I have 2 sizes in the the Bride one, because my friend Christina gave me the bigger one when I got engaged & I love them because it reminds me of the season of my life when I was preparing for my wedding!
I love tervis tumblers!

The next one that I think I might get will be an initial one, or a personalized one with my monogram!

Do any of yall have a certain item that you absolutely love and use all the time???
the Tervis Tumbler is my one item that I love!

**I didn't get paid for doing this
{that would be nice though, I could be a Tervis Tumbler seller... lol}
It's such a good product!

crafty Hilary...

This past weekend I experimented with my sewing machine that I've had for 3 years and never used.... and it was a success!!! I made these awesome curtains for our living room sliding glass door. I also made these two cute pillows!!! I purchased some REALLY cute fabric yesterday to make some more curtains for our extra bedroom/office/craft room! I am just too excited! I also hope to start selling some little girl jumpers that I'm making for my side business, Paint, Bake, & Create! {we'll see how that goes!}
I hope you like the finished product!

{fabric purchased at Ikea along with OUR NEW COUCH!}
