half year birthday!

little miss Maggie Claire is 6 months old!

What she's been up to...

• jumping like a crazy girl in her jumperoo
• wears a size 2 or 3 diaper
• wears size 6-9 months
• rolls over to the right and to the left from belly to back
• is obsessed with cups, she started playing with one in the bath one day... and ever since then she loves playing with it! It keeps her occupied- haha! {that fact that her mom carries a tervis tumbler everyday, and her dad always has a styrofoam cup w/dr. pepper in it, it doesn't surprise me that she likes cups}
• favorite vegetables: peas, carrots, & sweet potatoes
• favorite fruit: pears
• still exclusively nursing... she loves her momma! ;)
• usually takes 3 naps a day: (2) 1.5 hour naps, and (1) 1 hour nap. I have a feeling we will be dropping that last nap pretty soon, so hopefully she'll be down to (2) 2 hour naps a day
• practicing sitting up... only for about 1 second and then she falls over
• smiley smiley smiley girl!
• still loves the bath- I think she is going to be a swimmer like her momma and spend way too much time in the water! ;)
• loves swinging outside, and going for walks in the stroller
• we introduced her some puffs & a sippy cup this past month, and now she's trying to figure that out!
• she's got the "surprise" face down! Everytime she gets excited or she wants something she makes her surprise face with her mouth wide open! It'll make you smile.
• She has learned to pat with her hands... but it's more like banging with her hands everywhere. My friend called it the bird flap, because she does it with both arms.
• She loves studying faces. She will grab your nose and face, she's too friendly.
• When she eats, she smacks her lips when she really likes it & gives a grunting ummmmmm when she wants more. She loves her food!

We are so so so so so blessed to have a healthy baby! Praising Him!

she got some new gladiator style sandals that she wanted to chew on. They are so cute on her! She also got a big package in the mail today from Mimi Sherry & Papa Geoff in California. They got her some cute clothes and adorable sandals that I can't wait for her to wear!
